Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (17mm, 3.34 g, 8h). Rome mint; L. Caninius Gallus, moneyer. Struck 12 BC. Bare head right / German kneeling right in attitude of submission, offering up vexillum and extending hand. RIC I 416; RSC 383. A few bankers' marks on obverse, lightly toned. Good VF.
