IONIA, Kolophon. Circa 330-294 BC. AR Hemidrachm (12mm, 1.60 g, 12h). Ekataios. matistrate. Laureate head of Apollo left, with long hair / Kithara; ΕΚΑΤΑΙΟΣ to left. CNG 60, lot 731 (same dies); otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Lightly toned, porosity and cleaning marks on obverse, a little off center on reverse. Good VF. Extremely rare, one of three known (the third in a private collection).
