SICILY, Syracuse. Hieron II. 275-215 BC. Æ Litra (21mm, 9.35 g, 2h). Struck 263-218 BC. Head of Poseidon left, wearing tainia / Ornamented trident head; flanked by dolphins downward, uncertain control mark to lower left of shaft. Cf. CNS 197; BAR Issue 60; HGC 2, 1550. Rough green-brown patina. Near VF.

Lot includes an old B.A. Seaby flip (dated 29 December 1969) and ticket (dated 69).
