Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Didrachm – Quadrigatus (21mm, 6.96 g, 7h). Uncertain mint. Laureate head of Janus; curved truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; incuse ROMA in raised tablet below. Crawford 28/3; Sydenham 64a; RSC 23; RBW 65-6. Toned, minor obverse die rust. VF. Nicely centered and attractive.
