Anonymous. Circa 225-214 BC. AR Didrachm – Quadrigatus (20.5mm, 6.25 g, 3h). Uncertain mint. Laureate head of Janus; straight truncation / Jupiter, hurling thunderbolt and holding scepter, in galloping quadriga right driven by Victory; ROMA raised on tablet below. Crawford 29/3; Sydenham 65; RSC 24; RBW 77. Lightly toned, some light scratches and marks, reverse metal flaw, a bit of porosity. Good VF.
