Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Sestertius (32mm, 27.19 g, 6h). Rome mint. Group 16, winter AD 114-early 116. Laureate and draped bust right / IMPERATOR VIIII/ S • C in two lines in exergue, Trajan seated right on sella castrensis set on high platform, two officers at his side, haranguing a group of soldiers with horse who hold two signa and an aquila. RIC II 658; Woytek 549v; Banti 80. Dark brown patina, reddish earthen encrustation. Fine.
