Obverse: Textured star with sides rising to central point; Reverse: '6692' stamp over central ГЕРОЙ / СССР inscription; red ribbon suspension with clasp that reads МОНЕТНБІЙ ДВОР. A desirable medal, manufactured in gold and awarded to heroes of the Soviet Union. The medal was named under the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet on October 16, 1939.
