This brilliant, blazing proof issue was launched on the 127th anniversary of his birth on November 12, 1993. A fairly SCARCE and seldom encountered offering, this piece also includes the certificate of authenticity (no. 01377) as well as its original box and case of issue. Though the authorized mintage was 18,888, the number of examples actually produced is clearly well short of that figure, accounting for their paucity within the market.
