Hartill-22.713. Diameter: 57 mm. Weight: 56.0 gms. Obverse: "Xuan Feng Yuan Bao;" Reverse: "Dang WuBai" above and below; "Boo Chiowan" in Manchu to left and right. Noted by Hartill as being struck from March-August 1854 at the beginning of the Taiping Rebellion. Light adjustment marks on the rims on both sides, ochre toning lending authenticity; overall, a handsome piece.
