CHINA. Henan Yaoding. Provincial Large Ingots. Silver 50 Tael Ingot, ND (1820-50). Lingbao County. Graded "AU" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
1853 gms. BMC-Unlisted (though cf. 396 for a smaller ingot from this county). "Ling Bao Xian" (Lingbao County) in two sets of vertical stamps on the left; "Dao Guang Nian Yue" (made during the era of the Daoguang Emperor) in vertical stamp on the right. Small hole in one wing and two chops applied between the stamps; rather pleasingly toned, with a few lightly scattered marks. An impressive specimen.
