CHINA. Yunnan Sanchuo Jieding. Provincial Three Stamp Remittance Ingots. Silver 5.75 Tael Bank Ingot, ND. Graded "XF" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
BMC-Class LXVI # 836. Weight: 202.7 gms. Pack saddle type. "Zhu Yu Yuan Hao Hui Hao Wen Yin" (Zhuyuyuan Bank, remittance bank fine silver); "Guan Gong Gu Tong Kan" (Inspected by official public assayer Tong); "Guan Gong Gu She Kan" (Inspected by official assayer She). The edge wing tips appear to have been clipped causing the piece to be lighter weight than was intended and a single circular cross chopmark is noted on the obverse. Otherwise The outer stamps are nice and clear with good definition while the assayers stamps are slightly uneven with missing portions and the central stamp displays a void as is common for these issues. Despite its shortcoming a decent presentable example of the type in slightly heavier weight than normally encountered.
Estimate: $500.00- $700.00
