BMC-Class LXVI Group A. Weight: 189.4 gms. "Geng Xu Wu Yue Yu Yuan Hui Wen" (Gengxu year, i.e. 1910, 5th month, Yuyuan bank, remittance bank fine silver), "Guan Gong Gu Tong She Kan" (Inspected by official public assayers Tong and She). The stamps are deeply applied and clear with only slight weakness in the central stamp obscuring a small portion of a couple of characters. The tips of the wings were been broken off long ago and have since toned over with minor earthen deposits in the crevasses and protected areas. A decent example of the dated type with rich mottled grey to slate patina.
