From the series of proposed patterns by some of the world's leading minting facilities and artists, this VERY RARE and enticing pattern presents an intense argent nature and prooflike qualities. Some light hairlines are observed, but entirely consistent with the grade assigned. This particular design for the Sun Yat-sen Dollar was prepared by Langford Jones, and is especially notable in depicting turbulent seas on the reverse.
