CHINA. Taiwan. Copper-Nickel 10 Cents "Sample" (Pattern), ND (possibly ca. late 1960s). Central Mint. PCGS SPECIMEN-65 Gold Shield.
27 mm. KMX-1160 var. Obverse: Angled view of Chih Kan Tower; Reverse: two lines of vertical characters, symbols at right. Edge: Reeded. Presumably struck to commemorate the completed restoration of the Chih Kan Tower, which was originally constructed in the 17th century. A RARE issue, struck using the same obverse die as KMX-1160, but paired with a different reverse. The first we have seen.
Estimate: $600.00- $800.00
