CHINA. Warring States Period, ca. 475-221 B.C. State of Liang. Arched Foot Spade, ND (400-300 B.C.). Graded "80" by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-3.10; FD-301; S-1. Weight: 21.7 gms. Inverted inscription. "An Yi Er Jin" (Anyi two Jin). Reverse: Plain. A decently preserved example with bright copper color peaking through on the high points with nice looking mottled green patina throughout. The character "Er" on the obverse appears to have been smoothed and is quite flat and a scuff mark is noted on the reverse mentioned for accuracy. Despite its shortcomings an overall a presentable example with nice patination throughout.
Estimate: $200.00- $300.00
