Hartill-22.706. Weight: 45.4 gms. Er Bao, seven stroke bei variety. "Xian Feng Zhong Bao"; Reverse: "Dang wushi" (Value Fifty). An attractive example with nice even wear on the high points displaying smooth surface texture while the open fields exhibit original rough surfaces from the casting process. Minor earthen deposits and other debris are noted in the crevasses and protected areas lending to its originality. A nice brassy patina is notice atop most of the devices with darker tone in in the open fields. Some light tasteful smoothing is noted on the obverse as is common for large format Cash issues. Otherwise a nice representative of they type sure to please.
