Palestine Palatin Hotel 2 Piastres Haffner CC-5C PCGS AU
Very Rare Token and Grade.
Palatוn tokens were a private issue of the hotel from the late 1920s'. There were 5 denomination to these tokens, 1/2 , 1, 2, 5 and 10 piaster. All were minted in brass.
from the 2,5 and 10 piasters there are about 15 examples known. The 1 piaster is very rare and we know less than 10 examples. The 1/2 is extremely rare we know of only 5 examples.
