Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin headdress / Zeus Aëtophoros seated left, holding sceptre; rose in left field, monogram below throne. Very Fine, toned. Very Rare, one of perhaps ten known examples.

Struck from a single pair of dies, this issue is one of two variants of the main drachm issue of Price 2553, with the obverse die also being used on the other very rare variant issue (Price 2555).
