George V gold Sovereign 1924-SA MS66 PCGS, Pretoria mint, KM21, Hern-S338, S-4004, Marsh-288 (R5). One of just 3,184 pieces struck in Pretoria in 1924; a rarity in any grade, this specimen represents the single highest certified example by either NGC or PCGS. We have never before offered an example of this key type in such exalted preservation. Perfectly coated with unbroken satin luster, razor sharp details commensurate with a strong strike, immensely pleasing to the eye; an unmatchable offering, conditionally unique and a potentially once-in-a-generation opportunity to obtain the best of the best.
