Hannover (German States), taler, George V, 1865-B, 50th Anniversary of the Victory at Waterloo. Dav-684; KM-241. 18.48 grams. Brightly lustrous UNC with mirror fields, light surface hairlines on obverse only, minimal marks, spots of toning just below bust. Note the coins of this issue were paid to veterans of the Battle of Waterloo for their pensions. Purchased from the Munzen und Medaillen A.G. price list #138 in October 1954, lot #340, with collector's envelope.
