Deeply rainbow toned (quite pretty) over muted luster, no marks or wear but with a few struck-through-fiber marks on obverse only, popular type struck from silver captured from the Spanish off the Pacific coast of South America, very low mintage (just 100 pieces), rare and desirable as from Britain's first proof set.
