Watch List notes:

Guatemala (Central American Republic), 1/4 real, 1850, very rare, NGC AU details / cleaned, finest and only example in NGC census. KM-1. The last few years of Central American Republic 1/4R are all more or less rare, and the 1850 is particularly so, with no others listed in the NGC census and none at PCGS. This example shows a clear date but with the 8 weak and the 0 re-punched, lustrous surfaces, somewhat low-relief details and crude rims (as made) but still nice overall. NGC #4770572-023.
