Honduras, bronze 1 centavo, 1880, NGC VF 30 Brown, ex-Whittier. KM-40. Bold but crude strike, especially the rims and penultimate digit of the date (a large 8 to cover the fact that it was recut from an 1878 die), the details enhanced by contrasting toning, second highest grade in NGC census. NGC #4770572-006. Pedigreed to the Whittier collection.
