MAVGER F. at bottom; reverse with winged Victory approaching palm tree from which hang three oval plaques showing (from left to right) AD / BAR / CINO / NEM / HIS / PANI /AE, AD / ATHAM / FLAN / DRIAE and AD CAR / THAGI / NEM / NO / VI / ORBIS, all within legend VICTORIA COMES FRANCORUM, with date MDCXCVII in exergue. Choice AU in even, dark brown color with minimal marks, die-crack on bust.
