Rare in silver but also a scarce variety in general (less than ten known), darkly toned but lighter on the worn high points and in some fields, natural lacuna at tip of baton, Fine+ overall, specific gravity measured by former owner (Ted Craige, whose collection was sold by Stack's Bowers in 2013 after having been off the market for four decades) as 10.15 (about 80% silver). Pedigreed to the John Adams collection and to the Ted Craige collection.
