Connecticut, 40 shillings, 10-5-1775, serial 15982, PMG AU 55. FR-CT-182. A good type note from a series that is actually much scarcer than the popular 1776 issues. Bold embossing and strong ink colors, penned cancellation on reverse and small tears as noted by PMG. PMG #8067277-009.
