New York City, New York, $2, 13-8-1776, serial 12, very low serial number, PMG VF 25. FR-NY-202. Dated to just over a month after the Declaration of Independence signing and made payable for "TWO SPANISH MILLED DOLLARS." A very low serial number (12!) and the reverse with interesting print error "STAT OF NEW-YORK" due to very weak E at end of STATE, an evenly circulated note with single pinhole near BILL.
