Potosi, Bolivia, cob 8 reales, Philip II, assayer not visible (5th-period B), borders of x's, mounted cross-side out in14K bezel with small emerald. 30.24 grams total. Large but moderately corroded coin (probably ex-Atocha) with good full cross, doubled shield, nicely toned, in a simple contour-mount with five prongs and small notches all over for emphasis.
