Small lignum vitae deadeye, 1700s-1800s. 2102 grams, 7" diameter, 3-3/4" thick. Darkly colored turned wood, a piece of ship's rigging with groove and three holes for ropes, a couple of cracks but stable and displayable, found by workers excavating the site of the World Trade Center ca. 1967.
