Popayan, Colombia, 5 decimos, 1874, re-punched 18, fineness 0,835/0,900, rare, PCGS VG details / cleaned. Restrepo-295.6 var; KM-153.6. Typically lightly struck in centers and low in contrast (the lack of toning the only reason to mention cleaning within this grade level, so far as we can tell) but otherwise not as crude as most, and with clear date showing a re-punching of the first two digits and parts of legend (noted on label, not listed in Restrepo or KM). PCGS #39227540. Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada Collection (stated on label).
