Lot of three Medellin, Colombia, 5 decimos, 1880, 1882 and 1883, eight-point stars, all very rare, Restrepo Plate Coins. Restrepo-299.1, 299.2 and 299.3; KM-161.2. Three examples of a non-legal issue unofficially struck in contemporary times and listed in Restrepo as such on page 195 (also see Notas Numismaticas #139). The 1880 ("two known" in KM) is a cleaned VF, the 1882 is closer to XF with light scratches, and the 1883 is AU with some planchet flaws, all toned. Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada Collection, and Plate Coins on page 195 of Restrepo's Coinage of Colombia (2012).
