Cyprus, bronze 1/2 piastre, Victoria, 1879, NGC MS 64 BN. KM-2. Cyprus went to British administration in 1878 after the Russo-Turkish War; coins for the Cypriot pound series entered circulation the following year. Smooth, semi-lustrous surfaces, mostly brown toned with some areas of original mint red color. NGC #4687760-013.
