USA, $1 silver certificate, series 1935A, serial H36409238C, Julian-Morgenthau, salvaged from the Andrea Doria (1956), in large lucite capsule and original promotional case. 12-1/2" x 8-1/4" x 2" (whole case). Very tough series from this wreck with only a handful found in the safe and among some of the earliest notes found, having been printed sometime between 1938 to 1944. Usual edge degradation and staining from spending 25 years underwater yet quite intact with some evidence of circulation.
