Large silver ingot #149 from Oruro, 72 lb troy, Class Factor 0.7, with markings of fineness IIUCCCLXXX (2380/2400), manifest LXVI (66), owner/shipper and silvermaster, ex-Atocha (1622), ex-Caesar's Palace auction (1987). 15-1/4" long, 4-1/2" wide, 3" tall. Nicely toned bar with bold markings in corners (manifest at top left, owner/shipper CRo in monogram at bottom right, silvermaster V [de Vreder] at top right) and clear fineness at bottom-middle, lacking visible tax stamps, assayer cartouche and date/mine, curiously with cylindrical assayer's "bite" below top surface at left end, desirable as provenanced to the Las Vegas 1987 auction with Gene Lyon research.
