Obverse with condor with one wing raised, olive branch in beak, above broken chain, all inside legend LA HEROICA CIUDAD DE LA PAZ. EN 1854; reverse with seated Justice leaning on pedestal left and placing wreath on bust of Belzu on pedestal right within legend AL YLUSTRE JEFE DE LA NACION. M.Y.B. Attractively toned over muted luster, no wear or marks but centers slightly weakly struck. PCGS #32913694. Pedigreed to the Whittier collection.
