Bogota, Colombia, 5 decimos, 1870, with Costa Rica "lion" double countermark (Type VII, 1889, 50 centavos), very rare, PCGS VG detail / tooled, c/s VF detail. Host: Restrepo-293.3, KM-153.1; c/m: 134.2 (on different host). Dark brown toning and black encrustation on smoothly worn surfaces (and in bolder countermarks), with scratches here and there and about half of obverse rim weak. PCGS #39227535. Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada Collection (stated on label).
