Popayan, Colombia, 5 decimos, 1880, very rare, PCGS VF35, finest and only example in PCGS census. Restrepo-295.8; KM-153.6. Much bolder strike and higher grade than most of this type, with all details full and legends well defined with contrasting toning, crude rims as usual, possibly the finest of just five known (KM says "two known"), of which this is the only one at either PCGS or NGC. PCGS #39228005 Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada Collection (stated on label).
