Medellin, Colombia, 5 decimos, 1886, fineness 0,500, PCGS AU58+, finest known in PCGS census. Restrepo-313.2; KM-unl. Lovely light toning over muted luster (probably would rate MS if the luster were strong), satin-smooth surfaces and choice strike, die-crack between O and L of COLOMBIA, scarce variety with Bogota-style bust of Liberty. PCGS #39228018. Pedigreed to the Nueva Granada Collection (stated on label).
