Costa Rica, 8 reales, circular hole-punch and Carrillo "star" countermark (Type I, 1841-42) on a Potosi, Bolivia, 8 soles, 1831JL, very rare, NGC VG 8, c/s VF standard. KM-unl. 25.69 grams. Bold full countermark and clean hole-punch, a very rare countermark to begin with but particularly rare on this host (unlisted) with very lightly toned fields and no issues for the grade. NGC #5846759-002.
