Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Denarius (18mm, 4.82 g, 6h). Contemporary imitation of a type struck AD 213, Laureate head right / Serapis, wearing polos on head, standing left, raising hand and holding scepter. For prototype, cf. RIC IV 208; cf. RSC 211-3. Porosity. VF. Struck on a heavy flan. Interesting.
