THRACE, Maroneia. Late 2nd-mid 1st centuries BC. AR Tetradrachm (29.5mm, 16.63 g, 12h). Wreathed head of young Dionysos right / Dionysos standing half-left, holding grapes and narthex stalks; monogram to inner left and right. Schönert-Geiss 1026 var. (V19/R– [unlisted rev. die]; slightly different monogram on left); HGC 3, 1556. Toned, some light marks on reverse, indications of undertype. VF.
