MACEDON, Mende. Circa 460-423 BC. AR Tritetartemorion (8mm, 0.39 g, 8h). Ithyphallic mule standing right, bird standing on hind quarter, pecking at tail / Bird standing left within incuse square. AMNG III/2, 16; HGC 3, 564. Dark iridescent tone, much find patina, slight roughness. VF.
