Dirham (Bronze, 29 mm, 14.02 g, 10 h), as governor, Sultan AH 596-615 / 1199-1218, Mayyafariqin (= Diyarbakır), AH 596 = 1199-1200 AD. Arabic marginal inscription, with date formula on either side of the bust Draped bust of Prince facing, wearing a Byzantine-style crown. Rev. Central inscription of six lines with further inscription in the left, right and upper margins. Balog 337ff. Wilkes 908. Very fine.
