ATTICA. Athens. Circa 449-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 26 mm, 17.25 g, 4 h), c. 430s-420s. Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet with palmette and three olive leaves. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; behind, olive spray and crescent moon. HGC 4, 1597. Kroll 8. Lustrous and bright. Some dark areas on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
