Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet adorned with Pegasos. Rev. ΑΘΕ/ ΜΙΚ-ΙΩN/ EYP-YKΛE / CΩ/KPA/THΣ Owl standing facing on amphora; to right, Dioskouroi to left; on amphora, E; below amphora, ΣΩ (= contractor's initials). HGC 4, 1602. Thompson 485a (this obverse die). Toned. Some marks and scratches, otherwise, very fine.
