PERSIA, Achaemenid Empire. Time of Xerxes II to Artaxerxes II, Circa 420-375 BC. Siglos (Silver, 15.5 mm, 4.62 g), possibly plated. Persian king, wearing radiate tiara, in running/kneeling stance to right, holding bow in his left hand, spear in his right and with a quiver over his shoulder. Rev. Oblong incuse. Carradice Type IIIb C (pl. XIV, 36). BMC Arabia pl. XXV, 15. A well-centered example. Tiny edge nick on 12h, otherwise, nearly very fine.
