IONIA. Smyrna. time of Trajan to Hadrian, 98-138. Hemiassarion (Bronze, 16 mm, 2.93 g, 6 h), struck under the strategos Bion. CΤΡΑΤΗ ΒΙΩΝΟC Draped bust of Athena to right, wearing crested Corinthian helmet. Rev. ΖΜΥΡΝΑ-ΙΩΝ Nike advancing to left, holding wreath in her right hand and palm in her left. RPC III 1967. Some uncleaned deposits, otherwise, very fine.
