ΣΑΡΔΙΑΝΩΝ ΚΑΙ ΠΕΡΓΑΜΗΝΩΝ / ΜΟΥ/ΣΑΙ/ΟΣ The Demoi of Pergamum, bearded and wearing robes, and Sardis, beardless and wearing hunting dress, each holding a scepter, and clasping their right hands. BMC 211. RPC I 2988. SNG Copenhagen 54. A scarce and interesting Homonoia issue, struck from very carefully executed dies, with an especially fine and delicate head of Augustus. Green-black patina. Some roughness and marks, otherwise, very fine.
