P M TR P XX COS IIII P P Sol standing facing, head turned to left, raising his right hand and holding whip with his left. Cohen 389. RIC 293d. A bright and sharply struck piece, well-centered and with some original luster; struck shortly before the assassination of Caracalla. Extremely fine.
