CELTIC, Central Europe. Vindelici. 1st century BC. Stater (Bronze, 16 mm, 5.51 g), 'Mardorf' type. Triskeles within a wreath formed of two branches with seven leaves going in opposite directions and with a disc at each end. Rev. Six annulets within a wavy torque with annulet at each end; all within shallow incuse. Dembski 469. Flesche 404. Karl 336-338. LT 9441. SLM 1101. The obverse somewhat weak, otherwise, very fine.
